Clean and updated rooms with a nice pool area. Food service was slow at the restaurant, and breakfast orders were incorrect. Enjoyed the beach access and live music on the weekends.

This hotel offers easy beach access which is just a few steps away and is conveniently close to Anastasia State Park and the St Johns County Ocean Pier just a short walk away making it an incredible spot for weekend strolls and exploration while enjoying the beautiful ocean views and fresh air but the hotel could definitely use some renovations to improve the overall experience.

The pool was fun and the kids loved the mini-golf. They also have a free shuttle to nearby attractions, which made getting around easy.
It was pricey for what we got, but still manageable.

Staff was undeniably kind and helpful, adding a personal touch. Santiago's restaurant served excellent food, albeit pricey. The pool was clean and inviting, with a nice atmosphere. very few rooms offer a full ocean view, and access to the beach requires climbing two sets of stairs. Housekeeping could be more attentive; our first day was missed, and the noise level was disruptive at night with yelling and barking dogs nearby. The elevator situation fell short, especially for seniors or those with walking issues—one elevator is entirely insufficient. Rooms were spacious, but maintenance needs attention. A little more consideration could elevate this experience. Still, there's potential here worth recognizing.

The room felt outdated, and the shower had mildew everywhere. Plus, the air conditioning was completely erratic, making it impossible to get a comfortable night's sleep. it just didn’t feel like a resort.

The room was spacious with a comfortable bed. Nice ocean view, but the window overlooked a parking area and another hotel. The furnishings felt outdated, and the carpet was quite worn. We had great access to the pool and beach. the balcony chairs were small and a bit uncomfortable. Temperature control was fine, but the water had a strange smell. Daily cleaning was inconsistent; we had to ask multiple times for fresh towels. The elevators needed maintenance. The overall decor was cramped, which detracted from the comfort.

I had an amazing time exploring the nearby beautiful beach and everything else St Augustine offers within walking distance, including charming restaurants and major sights like the Bridge of Lions just under 3 km away! The staff was friendly, and we enjoyed convenient amenities like a nice pool area, although the pool experience could have been improved with better management of the environment.

The staff greets you like an old friend. The ocean view from the top floor is to die for, and the food at Santiago's is simply fabulous.
Be ready for some noise from housekeeping at the crack of dawn.

The pool was my absolute favorite spot! The beach access made it super easy to enjoy the sun and surf. I loved relaxing by the live music while the kids played in the sand area!

The restaurant served delicious breakfast and dinner, though the atmosphere felt more motel than resort. The room showed its age, and the elevator was maddeningly slow. I appreciated the beach setup for my mom, but the hallway had a musty vibe. While the location felt secluded, a car is necessary for dining options. A charming stay, but some updates would make a world of difference.

Had an epic time with my crew fishing for big game offshore and exploring St Augustine on kayaks. The Angler Academy was dope! The resort can use our pics anytime. We were stoked with the full-time fishing guide!
Wish there was a cool beach party or bonfire event for us young peeps to vibe at night.

Great location by the beach and close to restaurants. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Enjoyed the quiet atmosphere and balcony view. The restaurant had delicious food, and the pool area was nice.
Room cleanliness was an issue with hair found in the bathroom. Despite requesting cleaning multiple times, it was never done.

Enjoyed delicious food and drinks at Santiago's with a Florida twist. Loved the beachside tiki bar and the wide range of Guy Harvey merch. The ocean views were stunning and the beach rentals were convenient. The Fountain of Youth Park was an interesting historical visit.
Loved the symphony of barking dogs at night.

The endless summer charters provided us with the best sportfishing experience. The full-time fishing guide was fantastic, specializing in light tackle and fly fishing for various species. The beachfront location also allowed for endless family fun.
My children wanted more kid-friendly activities at the hotel.

The location was fantastic with easy access to the beach. I really appreciated the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The cleanliness of the facility, particularly the pool area and beach bar, was top-notch. there were definitely some drawbacks. Our room was lacking in amenities like an ironing facilities and heating, which would have been helpful during our stay. The air conditioning was a bit noisy and didn't always provide even airflow. I also missed having tea and coffee facilities in the room for a quick pick-me-up. While the room was clean, the carpeted floor looked a bit worn and dated. The housekeeping could have been more thorough as we found a few issues with the cleanliness of towels and bedding. the paid shuttle service was a bit pricey and limited, which made it difficult to explore the area without relying on rideshares.

Our family had a fantastic time at this beachfront hotel in St. Augustine! The beach and pool area were amazing, and we loved the convenience of being so close to the ocean. The staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The room, although not as fancy as expected, was clean and comfortable, with a balcony overlooking the pool. The tiki bar was a nice touch, perfect for enjoying a refreshing drink by the poolside.

we had a great time at guy harvey resort on saint augustine beach! the staff was very nice and helpful, and the pool and beach were lovely. the manager, who even dressed as a pirate for the kids at the pool, was very friendly and accommodating. also, the bartender at the tiki hut was a great guy! the location was super close to the beach and a short drive to local attractions. we'll definitely come back for another beach visit.

Despite this, the room had a lovely side view of the ocean. The staff was accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the beach access, the comfortable beds, and the delicious Christmas buffet. I'd recommend this hotel.

very clean rooms with balconies close enough to see the ocean. helpful front desk staff. great stretch of beach. terrific value for room size and amenities. pets are welcome, and the gazebo overlooking the water is a plus.
